Getting started
You need a sooauth account before connecting apps. Auth lives at auth.sooauth.com — separate from this marketing site.
Step 1
Create an account
Go to sign up. Use a real email — verification is required in production.
Step 2
Verify email
Check your inbox for the verification link. Click it — you should see a success message and a link to sign in.
No email? Confirm SMTP is configured on the auth server (operators only).
Step 3
Sign in
Sign in with your email and password. Passkeys and Google/GitHub appear when enabled in admin.
Step 4
Open admin
After sign-in, open Admin panel. Here you manage users, sessions, OAuth clients, social providers, and login page branding.
First-time tip: note the default OAuth client ID and redirect URIs before wiring your app.
Step 5
Connect an app
Next: Connect your app (OIDC). Works with soobserver, Next.js, or any OIDC client.
